Antistatic FIBC's prevent the build up of static. They are made using conductive tapes that ground and remove any electrostatic charge that may build up in the bag when filled or emptied. This is important if the bag is being used in a flammable atmosphere that might result in an explosion. In this sort of environment a standard bulk bag should not be used.
