These coloured woven polypropylene sandbags are delivered empty and can be filled manually or using specialist machinery. Once filled and tied they are ready for immediate use, making them a fast and versatile product. We supply them in a two colours which can be filled to your requirement.
Our sandbags can be filled to weights between 12 – 20Kg. The following applications and weights are best suited:
12kg - Used mainly for road traffic managment; when filled with 12kg of sand the bags can be easily folded over road signs to secure them
15kg - Ideal weight and shape for flood defence and protection. 15kg of sand still leaves enough space in the sandbag so that it can be molded into gaps to create a water tight sandbag wall
20kg - This is the maxiumum amount of sand a 34x75cm sandbag can be filled with, these sandbags are typically used for applications that require extra heavy weight.
