Clay desiccant bags contain a drying clay and provide protection from moisture damage during transport & storage. They can adsorb and store moisture from the air quickly and for a long time. These desiccant bags are measured in desiccant units (DU). A desiccant unit = The quantity of desiccant which adsorbs at least 6.0 g of water vapour in equilibrium with air at 23 °C (± 2 °C)
