Award winning packaging supplier, Weir & Carmichael are delighted to announce the promotion of Richard Murray to the position of Sales Director.

Richard joined the company in 2004 from Royal Sun Alliance and began working within the sales team. He was quickly promoted to Internal Sales Manager and then in 2013 to Field Sales Manager.

In his new position he will be in charge of strategic sales development, including major accounts and penetration into new markets. Commenting on the announcement, Managing Director Martin Ellioth said “Richard’s experience and expertise make him ideally placed to play a crucial role in the expansion of Weir & Carmichael.”

The new appointment comes at an exciting time for Weir & Carmichael who have also created 2 new posts in internal sales and appointed a new Buyer to help deal with increasing demand for their products.
