Sales co-ordinator Cassandra O'Prey has completed the Liverpool Half marathon on the 29th March for the third year in a row.

Cassie was raising money for the Prevention of Young Suicide (PAPYRUS) charity, sponsored by Weir & Carmichael in the Community. She managed to raise a whopping £1200, the highest figure ever raised by Cassie and any Weir & Carmichael fundraising activity. It was also a personal best running time for Cassie, completing the race in 1 hour 45, despite heavy rain and wind throughout the whole course.

Cassie quoted 'It has been great taking part in the Liverpool Half Marathon to help such a great charity. I would like to thank everyone who has sponsored me and also to Weir & Carmichael for all their support'

Cassie has completed several half marathons sponsored by Weir & Carmichael to raising money for various charities. The company would like to say a big well done and thank you to Cassie for all her great fundraising efforts.
