The Weir & Carmichael staff at our head office in Liverpool came to work in their festive jumpers in order to raise money for the 'Save the Children's Christmas Jumper Day. The event had an excellent turnout, with every member participating and helping to raise a total of £50 for charity.

The Christmas Jumper Day event is a fundraising initiative set up by Save the Children' in an effort to raise money for children around the world. They state "The money raised will help save lives. Just £2 could pay for potentially life-saving antibiotics to treat three babies with infections."

The official Christmas Jumper Day was held on Friday 12th December where thousands of businesses families and local communities don their Christmas Jumpers in an effort to raise money for charity. The event has increased in popularity year after year with 2014 being the most successful to date.

Commercial Director Julia Pemberton stated "It’s great to see the staff at Weir & Carmichael taking on the company’s ethos of supporting communities and improving our world.”
