A surprise party was held on Friday 14th March to celebrate production director, Barrie Williams Junior completing 25 years working for Weir & Carmichael.

Barrie, the son of managing director Barrie Williams senior, is the third generation of Williams family to work at Weir & Carmichael. Joining the team when he was just 23, he worked in the warehouse and has since worked his way up through the company into sales and production. Barrie was made Production Director back in 2013, and now overseas the smooth running of the production and warehouse.

Barrie commented “I am lucky to say that I have enjoyed the 25 years I have worked at Weir & Carmichael. I have been fortunate to have worked with great staff, dealt with a lot of nice customers whilst also learning something new every day.”

Weir & Carmichael now have 18 employees that have been working with us for over 10 years. We pride ourselves on creating a healthy working environment that fosters long term employees and experience.
